Jason An of Glastonbury, Conn. , will participate in the UNH Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF)

Jason An of Glastonbury, Conn. , a Senior majoring in Forensic Science and Chemistry will be participating in the UNH Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship. Each student will work with a mentor to complete a project of their choice. Jason will conduct research with Dequan Xiao. This project involves studying the interaction between a protein and certain ligands, that have showed activity energies, by molecular dynamic simulations

What is your career goal(s)?

"I would like to continue on with my studies to graduate school and earn a PhD degree in chemistry. Then I would like to work for a research laboratory" he said.
