Megan Fimbel of Chicopee, MA was one of the 71 students recently inducted into the University of New Haven's Honor Society for Experiential Education.

The students were inducted by completing two of the following experiences: a faculty-mentored research project, an internship, an academic service learning project or a study abroad excursion. A student must also be ranked in the top 20 percent of his or her class.

The purpose of the Honor Society of Experiential Education is to support intellectual development through research, encourage the development of professional integrity though work-integrated learning, stimulate fulfillment through community engagement, promote global awareness and cultural understating, and prepare students to live purposeful and fulfilling lives.
