Ostap Lisowtch Selected to Participate in Summer Fellowship at University of New Haven

2014 Jun 17

Ostap Lisowtch of Orange, CT has been selected to participate in the University of New Haven's Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Program.

The program enables students to conduct in-depth, hands-on research, working in collaboration with a faculty mentor. Over the summer, students will conduct research, submitting a final paper and presenting their findings at a campus research symposium in the fall.

Lisowtch, a student studying civil engineering says the project will, "give me the opportunity to broaden my field of study, enhance my time management and perhaps become a first step to gradate school."

Lisowtch's faculty mentor is Byungik Chang an associate professor of mechanical, civil, and environmental engineering.
